It's shaping up to be an interesting election on May 1st with the Conservatives having lost 2 MSP's to the upstart Scottish Peoples Alliance and the Socialists promising everything from free heroin to free tampons (yet when asked to comment on the tax implications one SSP candidate reportedly snapped, "It’s not Countdown and I’m no Carol Vorderman.")
