Abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press

Congress shall make no law... It's not congress though and it's not the law that brings to bear political pressure or simply filthy lucre on Akamai and broadcast media. Who really benefits by Akamai cancelling the Al Jazeera contract? Who really benefits by non-reportage of war protest?
