Seemed to me to be a resounding victory for Mike O'Brien. What struck me was he kept saying this what we are doing this is how we are trying to make it better and Ali kept repeating that it wasn't enough - but with no alternative prospectus. Ali seems to want bad stuff to happen he is willing Afghanistan to fail - why - is he a secret member of the Taliban or something because nobody else seems to remember them with such nostalgia.
