So, it's December already. Unbelievable. Today

• is World Aids Day
• it becomes illegal to use a handheld mobile phone whilst driving in England, Wales & Scotland.
• it becomes illegal to discriminate against workers on grounds of sexual orientation (religion comes tomorrow)
• is Woody Allen's birthday (!)
