Email

I set out to delete 1000 messages from my inbox, that is 1/16th of the total, and had limited success. I found 1000 messages to can no problem but then Outlook Express found another 15000 that I apparently didn't need either and promptly got rid of them too. So I've reappraised my email situation (out of control), got rid of a multitude of catchall email addresses, ditched Outlook Express (for it is crap) and downloaded Opera 7.5 with inbuilt extremely cool mail program. So far I'm loving it, the spam filtration seems to work sufficiently well that I am no longer going to have to revert to a whitelist and it's so clever at how it sorts out your messages; flat view / threaded view etc. Maybe I don't hate email after all...
