Edinburgh Festival Cavalcade

I thought it was a bit crap but then what would I know? And those ladyboys from bangkok didn't live up to the first part of their name. The tattoo people with bagpipes and drums were good, as were the weird ones from France or somewhere throwing flags in the air. Fortunately I had a book with me so that made things OK, some people I was with told me I was being boring. What is a cavalcade anyway? Like a motorcade but made of cavs? Ah. Whatever. The Spiegeltent was more fun, lying on the grass in George Square on a beautiful afternoon.
