A previous post has led to a number of people asking for a quick list of letting agents / property management companies in Edinburgh - especially people who don't live here (yet) and aren't able to look in the papers. So I've put together a very quick list of the ones which sprang to mind first, and I will endeavour to keep it up to date and to augment it over time.
The best places to find flats to rent are probably the Scotsman property section (thursday I think) and the ESPC (Edinburgh Solicitors Property Centre) magazine which is published weekly and has a rental property section. The Big Issue and the List also have property classifieds. Craigslist will over time I'm sure become useful but it has only recently extended to Edinburgh and as such doesn't have a local critical mass.
