In the beginning there was Yahoo! and then the search engine of choice was AltaVista before Google took the crown and has ruled more or less benignly for the last few years. I was just looking at the stats for this site and the three main search engine referrers, Google, Yahoo & MSN. I wonder how things will pan out this year now that Yahoo! have a decent search product and MSN are about to launch a marketing blitz for their new engine (which isn't too bad either).
