WhiteHouseTapes.org (at the University of Virginia's Miller Center of Public Affairs) is making more than 5000 presidential recordings, from Roosevelt to Nixon, available online for listening.
At the moment the home page is touting LBJ discussing actress Janet Leigh's FBI background check, JFK ordering "one of those blue pills" from his doctor, Nixon and Haldeman discussing John F. Kerry, and Nixon discussing that "ruthless little bastard" Donald Rumsfeld, who was up for a posting as Special Trade Representative.[Via C.A.R. Report]
